About the Bicycle Sprint

The idea for this sprint arose during the Alpine City Sprint. There are many Plone 5 issues still open and it would be nice to have a beta out before the Plone Open Garden Sorrento. As this is rather short notice, we don't expect many sprinters to be around physically, so for many it will be a remote sprint. That's why it's not called "Berlin Sprint".  The name derives from the Berlin Bicycle Week, which takes place in the same week.

Dates: 16-22 March

Organisers: Kees Hink, Stefania Trabucchi

Goal: Plone 5

The goal is to make Plone 5 as alpha-ready as can be. We try to close the blockers from https://github.com/plone/Products.CMFPlone/issues/184

 Add your topics below:

  • controlpanels: don't ship Plone 5 with plone.app.controlpanels anymore [khink, timo]
  • bobtemplates.plone: Finish missing templates that we need for Plone 5 [timo]
  • jenkins: testing pull requests, vagrant, QA jobs... [gforcada]
  • testing: getting rid of PloneTestCase, fix remaining test isolation issues in buildout.coredev [timo]
