releasing and svn shuffling completed

from Rob Miller on Aug 05, 2008 09:40 PM
hi again,

okay, i've finished w/ all the releasing, merging, and moving.

there's now a P2.5 compatible v0.5.0b2 release, available as a tarball from
the Listen product area on plone.org:

  http://plone.org/products/listen

and as a tag from the older svn home:

  http://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/listen/tags/0.5b2/

the trunk, from which this release was cut, is no longer in its former
location. if you were tracking the trunk, you'll want to 'svn switch' to the
v0.5 release branch:

  http://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/listen/branches/0.5/

there was a subversion bundle defined which would check out the Listen trunk
and all necessary dependencies, which i've adjusted this to use the 0.5
release branch:

  http://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/listen/bundles/current/

the Listen trunk now supports (and requires) Plone 3.0 or greater; this code
will eventually become a 0.6 release. this code is packaged in a setuptools
friendly way, and is available from its new home:

  http://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/Products.listen/trunk/

the code that is on the trunk was developed on the listen-repoze branch of the
older svn location. if you were tracking the listen-repoze branch, you'll
need to 'svn switch' to the trunk URL listed above.

there has been mailing list import / export work happening on the 'export'
branch, which was originally cut from the listen-repoze branch. i've merged
all of the listen-repoze changes back to the export branch, and have moved the
export branch to its new home:

  http://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/Products.listen/branches/export/

additionally, there were two Listen buildouts defined, each of which were
pulling in the listen-repoze branch via svn externals to be used as a develop
egg. i've updated these so that they're now pulling in the new Listen trunk,
and i've moved them to the new location:

  http://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/Products.listen/buildouts/

i believe this takes care of everything. please ask questions on this list if
you have any problems transitioning to the new organization.

thanks!
