The Mark Lanes bowling alley at 423 88th Street in Bay Ridge Brooklyn is set to be demolished by August 1st so Century 21 can build a potential 280 car parking lot on the property. This would be a tremendous loss for Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Sunset Park, parts of Staten Island, and the thousands of others which depend on Mark Lanes as one of the few recreational spots left in the area. Considering we may lose the Alpine and we already have lost the Fortway movie theater, the impact of the loss of Mark Lanes is even greater.
