Themes that are up for grabs:

Disclaimer: These are only suggestions. If you have a different one you'd rather do, that's fine as well. We're shooting for quality designs that are not "niche". We're looking for the kinds of designs that can be used broadly, by many users.

Just put your name next to the theme(s) you want to work on. The only guideline I'll give here is that I think we should shoot for having all of the bells and whistles that come with Plone out-of-the-box (print, send to a friend, utility (top) navigation, search, members folder, etc. The expectation is that the skins should be installable without having to tweak any knobs in the ZMI.

Contributed multilingual high accessibility theme:

http://www.drcil.org/ - Kevin Pelletier put together this multilingual, high accessibility theme in consultation with DRCIL. DRCIL and a number of individuals and organizations would love to see something like it ship OOTB with Plone. In particular this theme has a highler contrast and the fonts can be enlarged a great deal without affecting the overall layout. Please contact cjsteel for further information.
