• Sprint

last modified October 13, 2007 by dray

Naples Sprint 2007 will be held on October 13-15, 2007, the weekend immediately after Plone Conference 2007 plus monday.  Our venue will be the City of Science Centre the same place of the conference. We'll be able to accomodate about 300 people.

Learn-and-share

We want core developers and other experienced people to run a 45-60 minute learn-and-share/show-and-tell session. This is for people who are not sure what to sprint on to learn something, or find an interesting area to work on.

I'd like to suggest that people take two hours out of their day: one hour to give a demo/talk and answer audience questions, and an hour for "off-line" questions or discussions with those that want to learn more outside the room (where the next presentation will start).

These sessions can be pretty informal: slides are not required, but there will be a projector. The aim is to get people excited or to teach a useful technique. Bear in mind that many in the audience are likely to be new to Plone.

Topics

Each of these tracks should have a leader (or leaders). It will be up to each track leader to organise people for that track.
