Quiz Night

When: Monday October 6th 8pm

Where: Fado Irish Pub

Fado does a quiz night every Monday. I say we get a group together and go school some DC interns! Go Team Plone!!!!

Ultimate Frisbee!

When: Tuesday, October 7, 4 pm - 6p, followed by post-game food and beverage

Where: The Mall. Meet in front of the National Museum of American History, at 12th and Madison (map).

We'll meet at that location, then find a suitable spot for a game at The Mall. Contact gerry AT ifpeople DOT net if you are interest in attending (not required, but helpful to know if there will be enough people for a game).

Live Music?

What: I'm up for seeing a show or two during the conference. I like punk rock (any flavor will do), ska, and other danceable types, but I'm open minded!

When: I don't know....  Looking for suggestions for clubs and events. [Try the Black Cat...great venue and they have something going on every night]

Where: Preferably someplace within metro/walking distance from the conference, but I'm willing to share a cab with others.

Visit to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center

What: A visit to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center of the National Air and Space Museum

Why: To see the Space Shuttle Enterprise, the B-29 Superfortress "Enola Gay"­ and the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, among other exhibits.

Where: Nearby the Dulles International Airport. Either we'll need one or more cars or use VRTA to get there from Dulles.

When: Don't know yet, open for suggestions!

Live Sport?

What: I'd love to see some live American sports; Baseball, American Football and most of all NBA!

When: If my investigations are correct i believe that the season wont have started? Can anyone tell me otherwise?
