Activities and deadlines for the last month previous to the event

Asap (in progress)

  • [done] publish WPD in Plone's home page (r0ver, jensens)
  • Ask hosts to upload the events in plone.org/events/wpd/2008

Oct 20th

  • Promotional Kit (logo, flier, press release) ready
  • To have at least 50% of the hosts uploaded in plone.org/events/wpd/2008
  • Survey Draft
  • write a news in plone.org promoting wpd

Oct 23th

  • Final survey
  • publish the survey

Oct 27th

  • To start promotion agresively: locally and in internet (linkedin, facebook, digg, slashdot)
  • write a news in plone.org promoting wpd

Nov 3th

  • Write hosts to:
    Encourage then to take pictures and upload them in flickr (or anywhere else) - tag: worldploneday2008 [duffyd - sent out email to lists]
    Encourage people to blog about the organization and after the event
    Ask the hosts to count the attendees and fill surveys.
  • write a news in plone.org promoting wpd
