To ascertain and plan for easier customization of Plone for casual users and non-technical types who implement Plone in their corporation, non-profit organization, NGO, University and governement sites. In order to improve overall adoption of Plone we need to make initial impression of Plone much more "approachable" .. we have a solid architecture.. now let's make it easier to swallow.. :-)
