Golden Bay Rainbow Gathering 2012
SEED CAMP 22nd February - 8th March
Main Gathering 8th March - 6th April
Scouting is complete and we have found consensus at the scout meeting in Takaka on a location.
... The site is in the beautiful Cobb Valley, at the end of the Cobb Reservoir. One hour hike off the road into pure beauty. Directions from Takaka:
Head South from Takaka towards Upper Takaka. At Upper Takaka, turn right onto Aaron Creek Road and turn right as it becomes Cobb Valley Road. Follow it on the right to stay on Cobb Valley road at the next intersection. Cobb Valley Road will become Cobb Dam Road. Follow this road all the way down to the Reservoir and turn left. Drive to the end of the reservoir to Trilobite Hut and follow the walking path set out there towards Chaffey's Hut. It's about an hour's hike in. The site is in the third major clearing on the right hand side. Look for signs.

As we enter the year 2012 a vision is coming to fruition of continuous rainbow gatherings in aotearoa and around the world, it is the to gather on the land througout the year opening sacred spaces of love light, portals to unite the grid globally, universally, infinitely.
For 3 days we circled in honeymoon valley envisioning the future of rainbow gatherings and our roll in the future of the planet, sharing our heartsongs, prophecy's of ancient times, hopes and dreams. A shared vision emerged of many gatherings spouting up around the country to flow though the entire of 2012 with the hope to flow towards a magical location for December summer solstice and beyond.
this summer another two gathering have so far been called, one in each island. North island gathering is happening now (8th - 22nd feb - 8th march), info on the north island gathering is below.

kia ora rainbow family, te whanau anianiwa o aotearoa,
just to remind and reiterate that there is indeed a gathering occurring in the kauaeranga valley at the base of the coromandel peninsula near thames. I am aware that many are keen to gather in te waipounamu. i hope this doesn't trigger any separation fears in anyone that there may be 2 gatherings. i feel in these times the more we gather the better. for many of us with kids up here the south island is too far.
we can hold the energy in both islands, be aware of each other and gather in synchronicity and union! not in separation.
we have a lovely spot here by a stunning river, greens already in the ground ready to eat, peaceful long grass and beautiul mountains for those who choose to come here.
the seed camp starts on feb 8. main gathering the following dark moon. 22nd i think.
directions:
as you approach the town of thames from the south there is a BP petrol station on the right. turn right here and follow the road for about ten minutes until you get to the kauaeranga hall on the left. a white wooden building. about 20m past here turn right down pakaraka road. go across bridge and turn left. keep going and follow the flags and signs. welcome home! kia kaha whanau, see you soon! or blessings on you wherever you are or go.
