Governance 

After five years operating as a non-profit unincorporated association in September 2011 Brentford High Street Steering Group was incorporated as a non-profit company limited by guarantee. The organisation name and other assets were transferred to the successor organisation under a formal Transfer Agreement.  In October 2011 we completed our registration with the Charity Commission.

Steering Group minutes

When BHSSG was active on a wide range of issues nearly all our business was done in open session general meetings ("BHSSG Forum") - see Steering Group meeting minutes which are available to read. The trustees ("BHSSG Board") now meet every six months or so to review the operations of Brentford Market, which since 2013 has been the predominant focus of BHSSG's volunteer capacity.
