MaryJane, The NORML CannaBus is now 2 weeks into her 42 day '4:20 to Dunsterdam' tour. The first and only arrests so far have been in Palmerston North. 3 locals and 1 crewmember from the NORML CannaBus were arrested at the 4:20 public smoke-up at the Square, and bailed within the hour.

The locals are pleading not guilty and will appear in court in Palmy. Dakta Grower will be going to court in Auckland on April 2, along with fellow crewmember Dakta Green, who already had a public smoking charge from August 07 (4:20 protest in Tamaki Makaurau).

The next leg of the tour will take Mary Jane and her crew up through Whakatane, Tauranga, Paeroa and Coromandel, returning for another Tamaki Makaurau smoke-up at Manukau City. Protests will continue to happen every day in the public centre of each town at 4:20.

Reception has been either positive or confused, and daktivists have been doing their best to educate the public about separating the harms of drugs from the harms of prohibition laws and see which is really causing the harm they lament.
